About Us

Sundarban Friends Association is a government-registered non-profit and non-governmental organization (NGO) incorporated under CIN: U88900WB2024NPL268865. Based in Piprakhali ,Dakshin Raypur no 3, Dholahat Patharpratima, in the South 24 Parganas district of West Bengal, our organization is dedicated to uplifting the underprivileged and marginalized communities of the Sundarban region. We strive to bring sustainable development, digital empowerment, and positive social change to the grassroots level.

Our Vision

To build an inclusive, self-reliant, and empowered society in the remote areas of the Sundarbans, where every individual has access to quality education, essential healthcare, and equal opportunities for a better future.

Our Mission

Quality Education: To provide accessible, modern, and quality education to rural children through the Sundarban Friends School.
Social Welfare & Relief: To stand firmly by vulnerable families through regular cloth distribution drives, food relief during disasters, and community welfare programs.
Digital Literacy & Governance: To bridge the digital divide by assisting rural residents with essential government identification services, including Aadhaar and Voter ID updates, corrections, and mobile linking.
Community Empowerment: To implement sustainable social and economic initiatives that foster self-reliance among youth and women in the region.

What We Do (Our Core Areas)

1. Education for All

We believe education is the backbone of society. Through our dedicated educational initiative, we work toward eradicating illiteracy and shaping a brighter future for the next generation in rural Bengal.

2. Humanitarian & Relief Work

The Sundarban region is highly vulnerable to natural challenges. We actively organize relief camps, distribute clothing and winter garments during festive seasons, and provide immediate support to families in times of crisis.

3. Digital Assistance & Citizen Services

To ensure that no villager is left behind due to the digital divide, we provide door-to-door and localized assistance for essential e-governance services, making government documentation and benefits accessible to everyone.
